SATIN AND SATIN RIBBON BROOCH

An adornment to any dress or dress is undoubtedly an additional accessory. It can be either a beautiful necklace or beads, as well as some beautiful brooch. A brooch that will be made by hand will look very exclusive. Handmade accessories and jewelry are especially considered valuable as repetition of their manufacture is almost impossible, they are unique and exclusive. Today, we will do such an ornament in the form of a fabric brooch with our own hands, which we will use for this:

Red satin fabric;
White satin ribbon 5 cm wide;
Green satin ribbon 5 cm wide;
Thick cardboard, we will use for templates;
Red heart for the middle;
Ruler;
Lighter;
Glue gun;
Scissors;
Pencil;
Needle with thread;
Tweezers;
Base for brooches made of metal material.

Our brooch will be in the form of a flower of three tiers, which we will make of satin ribbons and satin fabric. From these materials we will cut circles from which we will make the petals for the flower. We take a thick cardboard and draw three circles of different sizes: the diameter of a small circle is 5.5 cm, medium 6.5 cm, and a large 8.5 cm. We cut out all three circles and get the patterns. We apply large and medium circles to the red satin fabric.

We apply the smallest circle to the white satin ribbon, as well as to the red satin. We cut out six large red circles, five middle red circles, as well as six red and white small circles. We circle everything in a circle with a lighter.

We make large petals. We take a big circle.

Fold it in half with the front side out. We take a thread with a needle, step back from the edge 1-2 mm and sew with small stitches in a semicircle.

We tighten the thread and get such a petal. We make five more of the same. Now we do the average. Fold in half the middle circle.

We also flash and tighten. In total, we make five middle petals. And we get five red petals and six white ones.

The blanks for the petals are ready.

We take a green satin ribbon, cut five squares 5 * 5 cm.

Now we cut out the petals from these squares, we also burn them along the edge. We take one petal, fold it face inward, clamp it in tweezers and burn it with a lighter.

Spread out and here is the result. So do four more petals.

We still have one more small red circle, we will use it as a substrate for the brooch. From white cardboard we cut out a circle of 5.5 cm in diameter. We will collect a flower on this circle.
