Carnation from colored paper

The schemes of this craft, found on the Internet, are so complex and incomprehensible that not only a child, but also an adult, can hardly understand them. But with these photos, cloves are very easy to make! Do not be afraid of a large number of photos - in the craft there are many repeating steps, they are illustrated. For work, you will need two square sheets of double-sided paper in different colors. It is better if you take thin paper, because you have to fold two sheets at a time.
Work sequence. Take two sheets and lay one on top of the other. Trim the edges and fold them in half horizontally.
Expand, rotate 90 degrees to either side and fold again in half.
Expand the square.
Now fold both sheets diagonally.
Expand and fold again, but on a different diagonal.
You will get a square with such markings. Now grasp the top corner and connect it to the bottom corner, while simultaneously connecting the side corners with it, hiding the sides of the resulting triangle inside the workpiece.
You will get such a box.
Flip it open side up. Now the center of the craft is down.
Fold the top sheet on the right side of the square in half, starting from the bottom.
Expand it. There will be a pocket on top (an arrow points to it).
Extend the sides of the pocket, making a bag, and move its fold to the center of the craft.
Iron the edges of the resulting two-color rhombus.
Fold the rhombus in half, connecting the sides (from right to left).
You get such a blank.
Fold the right side of the craft in half again.
Open it and align the fold in the center of the fist with the median line of the craft.
Turn the workpiece over to the other side. Fold the right side in half again.
Repeat the steps in photo 14-16.
Fold the right side in half for the last time.
Repeat the steps in photo 19-20.
Connect the right side of the two-color rhombus to the left side.
A single red diamond will open. There are four such rhombuses in this blank.
Bend the upper red corner downwards, iron the bend. Yellow corner also bend down, but inside the crafts.

Find three more solid rhombuses in the blank and bend the red and yellow corners in the same way as the first rhombus.

Fold the shape in half. Bend the bottom corner in a dashed line.
Expand the shape. Inside it turned out two folds. Raise the right side of the craft exactly to the folds (the edges of the folds will protrude on the craft from the side of the table).
And the left part of the craft fold along the dotted line, making a fold outward.
Squeezing the pointed part of the craft on the left with your fingers, open the right side of the craft. The result is a flower with eight double petals.
Now bend each yellow petal inward, trying not to iron the fold.

To prevent the red petals from folding, bend their tips slightly outward. This maneuver will allow the flower not to close.

Cut a strip of green paper and roll it up. Cut two or three leaves. Attach a flower to a stalk.
