Owl from a tetropackage.
Take a tetropacket from under milk or juice (preferably 2 liters), cut a bottom in the form of a semicircle. Rinse the inside of the box thoroughly and wipe it dry. Tape the surface with a self-adhesive film. It is advisable to choose a brown or yellow shade to make an owl. But if this is a cartoon character, then a pink tint will come off. Make ears, wings. Form eyes from plastic caps and buttons, glue the beak. Attach a rope from above.
Inverted basket.
Take the old basket and remove the broken handle. Paint it white with gouache paints and glue. Pick up a wooden box with sides and also paint with white paint. Make holes in the corners of the box and stretch the decorative ribbons, tying a knot at the bottom. Wrap them around the vine and connect at the bottom of the basket. Make a loop for the feeder to hold on to the branch. Decorate the box with ready-made figures.
Made of wood and plastic.
From the fiberboard sheet, make the bottom of the feeder. Five parts need to be cut: a bottom measuring 20 x 25 cm, two side walls 18 x 4 cm, two long walls 25 x 4 cm. Assemble all the parts and fix with studs. For the roof you need to use flexible plastic. Cut such a piece so that it is possible to form a dome along the length of the lower workpiece. Plastic also beat to the sides of the box. Make two holes on the sides and a wire handle. Unusual, but beautiful feeding trough.
From birch branches.
If you plan to cut trees at the dacha or in your city such work was carried out, then from thick branches you can make an excellent bird feeder. Select branches with a diameter of 2-4 cm and cut them into pieces of different lengths. Bottom blanks: 2 pieces of 25 cm and 2 branches of 20 cm. They need to be connected along the edges with liquid nails. The bottom of the feeder is a piece of hardboard with a size of 25x20 cm. The lateral vertical posts are segments of 15 cm. 4 pieces need to be made. To make a roof, you can cut the twigs in half along the length and connect them together. There is still a small chimney on the roof. Magnificent house feeder!
From an old whatnot.
If you have an old bookcase in your attic gathering dust that you haven't used for a long time, then turn it into a bird feeder. Cut two identical hexagonal blanks. Between them, it will be necessary to attach rails, exactly 6 pieces. They are fixed on self-tapping screws. To prevent food from spilling out from the bottom, tighten the side rails. Make a wooden handle and decorate the craft with colorful birds.
This is how such diverse and magnificent bird feeders can be made from improvised materials.
