Undoubtedly, children are a great happiness! But sometimes this happiness asks him to buy a lot of everything at once, especially on the eve of the holidays. And recently, my eldest four-year-old son, first seeing the Hot Wheels commercial on TV, and then the kit itself in the store, begs us to buy it. This very welcome set is a garage for small cars with slides and it costs almost 13,000 rubles. For our family, the amount is not small and a little thought, I decided to build a son in the likeness of a garage from improvised materials available at home.
For this we need:

shoe box, preferably for children;
bushings for toilet paper;
colored paper;
PVA glue;
compasses or 2 glasses of different diameters;
Ruler and pencil;
stickers or cards for decoration.

We take a box from children's shoes, but it doesn’t matter, you can use any other box, it’s just from children's shoes that the lid on the box closes comfortably and acts as a garage door.

Next, we take toilet paper bushings, which we prudently collected for several months. But you can make them yourself out of thick cardboard.

And insert the bushings in a checkerboard pattern into an open shoe box. In our box, we got five rows of four bushings each. Total 20 places for cars.

So that the bushings do not fall out, you can fasten them together with glue, but not necessarily.
Tip: To prevent the cars from rolling up, it is necessary that there is free space at the bottom of the garage, that is, cardboard sleeves should be less than the width of the box. Now we will decorate our future garage for cars a little. In our shoe box, we bought boots for our son, and as you can see in the photographs, it’s so bright and beautiful, but it will not hurt to decorate it a little. Moreover, the next New Year will come soon and we all know that the Rooster is its symbol. Therefore, after a little searching in my collection of postcards, I found a card with roosters that my girlfriend presented to me 12 years ago. Her that we will use to decorate the garage.

On the box there are Chinese characters, which we glue with PVA glue, cut out from a postcard cockerels.

And glue the phrase "Happy New Year!". These are the beautiful garage doors that we have.

Then on top of the box we will make two helipads. Because in addition to small cars, my son also has small airplanes.
To do this, take glasses or mugs of different diameters and draw small circles in large circles with a pencil on the back of the yellow colored paper. It is possible to draw with a compass to whom it is more convenient.

And in these circles we draw a large letter N. And carefully cut out with scissors.

Next, from blue colored paper, we cut out a rectangle the size of the top of our garage for cars. And we glue it first, and then on top of our yellow circles and letters, as shown in the next photo.

My son has a lot of small cars, both from Kinder-surprise eggs, and from sets, and so simply presented. These are only the first ones that caught our eye.

Well, now the most interesting thing is that we are starting to fill our garage. To play at its entrance, you can put a small barrier and a gas station. In general, here we have such a garage for small cars with helipads.

The child was just happy when he saw him and began to play with him. The son said that I would definitely make him another such garage, otherwise many cars cannot fit, and they cannot sleep on the street. Love and make your children happy, because sometimes to make them happy it is not necessary to have a lot of money.
