Blockage Techniques
To eliminate such blockages, three methods are usually used:
1. Mechanical. It involves the use of special tools, is of a certain complexity and does not have sufficient efficiency.
2. Hydraulic. Based on the use of special expensive equipment, but gives a good result in a short time.
3. Chemical. This method is distinguished by its availability in domestic conditions and relative cheapness. It all depends on the price of the product used.
Using soda and vinegar
The most affordable and effective method of cleaning in a domestic environment is the chemical method. However, the means that are used for this often have many disadvantages. Therefore, it is better to replace them with soda and vinegar, which:
- have a small cost;
- do not pollute the environment;
- do not emit toxic elements;
- is in every house;
- easy to use.
The process of cleaning the blockage in the drain using soda and vinegar
Initially, there is no airtight blockage. Water just takes a very long time.
Therefore, we proceed to cleaning the system.
First of all, remove the plug from the drain hole in the sink or bath. It will interfere with the follow-up.
Next, pour vinegar into the drain hole. Any solution of this substance is suitable for these purposes, but it is better not to use the essence, since it is too toxic. It will be enough 200-300 ml.
After that, soda is poured into the drain. In this case, 5-7 tablespoons are enough.
Immediately it will be possible to observe a characteristic chemical reaction. A large amount of gases is released and a characteristic increase in temperature is noted. These processes also contribute to cleansing the system, even with clogging.
When the reaction is over, you need to add a little more vinegar. Usually enough 300 ml.
The procedure can be repeated twice.
At the final stage, you need to pour a large amount of boiling water into the drain hole. 1-2 liters will be enough.
After 5 minutes, you can open the tap, and rinse the system with running water. The blockage will be eliminated, and the water from the sink will leave faster.
Now the water leaves much faster.
In especially difficult cases, the operation is repeated several times.
