Pickled onions are a constant addition to barbecue from time immemorial. Perhaps our ancestors did not know exactly how onions affect the digestion of food, but today it is already reliably known that onion juices with the help of their own enzymes help to quickly break down fatty foods. After such a meal, we feel cheerful and without heaviness in the stomach, in a good mood we continue to relax and enjoy nature and friendly communication!

Ingredients:


  • - onion - 0.5 kg;
  • - vinegar 9% - 4 tbsp;
  • - sugar - 1 tbsp;
  • - salt - 1 tbsp;
  • - water - 1 glass;
  • - greens - to taste.

  • Cooking time: 25 minutes.
  • Servings: 5-6.

Recipe:


1. Peel the onions from the red husk, cut into half rings of the width that you like best. It can be thin rings or rings thicker - since in the pickled onion harshness and unpleasant smell will no longer be, the size of the onion is no longer important.

2. Take a glass jar or a suitable plastic container, transfer the onion rings with greens - dill or parsley.

3. For marinade, you need to mix sugar with salt, pour everything with vinegar and a glass of water. You do not need to boil water!

4. Stir the marinade until all the loose ingredients are dissolved, pour them onion in a jar.

5. After 25-30 minutes, your quick pickled onions will be ready. Amazingly delicious kebab and with other additions to fried meat!
