The peculiarity of this bench is that in just a few seconds it can be transformed into a bench with a table.
The back of the bench itself is used as a table top. To make a transformer bench, you will need boards, a stud with nuts, and screws with a ring (they act as retaining screws).
The main stages of work
The first step is to file the blanks that will be used in this project. The legs of the bench should be sawed off at an angle of 10 degrees - for better stability.
At the next stage, the author proceeds with the manufacture of the lower part of the bench - that is, the seat. We connect the front and rear legs with the side legs.
Further, from a wide board (in this case, glued), the author cuts out two parts of the rotary mechanism. They have the shape of a trapezoid.
We attach trapezoidal parts to the rear legs with the help of hairpin segments and nuts. In their upper part, drill holes for the locking screws.
At the last stage, we fasten the boards, which will act as the back of the bench and table top.
