Everyone is used to using a hammer only for hammering nails. However, after some refinement, it will be possible to use the hammer as a holder for nails.
Why is this even necessary? Everything is simple! In order not to hold the nail with your hand at the time of the first blow with a hammer on the hat. Thus, the probability of getting on the fingers is reduced to zero.
The first step is to make markings on the hammer in the form of the letter "T". For this, the author uses a metal ruler and a permanent marker.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the master drills a blind hole in the center of the longitudinal marking line - a seat for a neodymium magnet.
Then the grinder needs to make two grooves: transverse and longitudinal (they should be perpendicular to each other).
After this, it remains only to drill a hole previously drilled to the desired diameter, and insert a round neodymium magnet into it.
Thanks to the magnet, the nail will not fall out of the “nest”, which is very convenient, for example, in places where it is very crowded and really not to turn around.
