In this review, the author shows how to make a simple tool with your own hands, with which you can easily twist the ends of the steel wire stretched between the posts.
The main material for the manufacture of this homemade product is a piece of metal strip 30 mm wide. From a tool for work, you need a grinder, an electric drill and a gas burner.
First of all, it is necessary to make a marking, and then drill two holes. Further, the author cuts a piece about 15 cm long from the strip.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, from the side where the holes were drilled, the author cuts two pieces on the sides. The other end of the workpiece must be rounded.
Now the resulting "shank" must be bent. To do this, the author heats the metal with a gas burner, and then bends it with a gas key.
In principle, pliers can also be used. And ultimately it should turn out like in the photo below.
