If you want to make the interior of a summer house or a private house more original, then take note of a simple “recipe” for making a wooden stool with three legs. Such compact chairs are characterized by good stability, and also harmoniously fit into almost any modern interior.
As a basis for the manufacture of wooden stools, you can use trimmed ordinary boards, which can always be found in the workshop (especially carpentry). Before starting the main work, the workpieces must first be passed through the thicknesser in order to level the plane.
After that, we cut them into pieces of suitable sizes on a circular or band saw (you can also use the usual manual hacksaw for wood). Then we glue together two blanks, and clamp them with clamps.
The main stages of work
After gluing, we saw off the part with the brine, and then we align the side plane on the jointer or using a regular planer. Next, we mark the blanks and cut out small triangles. Of these, the stool seat will then be assembled.
At the next stage, we grind the inner edges of the workpieces, make markings and drill two blind holes on each side - for the installation of rectangular dowels. After that, all three blanks are glued together.
