To make your own decorative rose from copper sheet, you will need a minimal set of tools. Moreover, you do not need to perform any complex work and use welding, so the manufacture of a metal flower will not take much time.
This is a very interesting, easy-to-execute and most importantly - budget-made homemade product that can be used as an interior decor or presented to your girlfriend for any reason. As a basic material for a decorative rose, you will need a small piece of copper sheet.
The process of making a flower: the main stages of work
The first step is to draw on paper or download from the Internet a ready-made template of rose petals and sepals. Then we cut out the main elements from the paper and transfer them to the prepared sheet of copper, circling the contours with a marker.
At the next stage, on a band saw or using a jigsaw (you can also use metal scissors) we cut five blanks with petals of different sizes and one sepal. The edges of the finished elements are processed with a file. Then we cut the petals and bend them slightly.
From the brass bar we make the stem of the rose. In the upper part we cut the thread and wind the nut. After that, we put on the prepared copper parts: sepals and petals (first you need to drill a hole in them in the center). Press on top with a nut. Then with the help of pliers and round-nose pliers we give the petals the final shape. That's all - a beautiful copper rose is ready!
