The first step is to cut off part of one of the handles. Then the author welds a small section of the profile pipe to it.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we cut off the part of the second handle with a grinder, and drill a hole in it. Moreover, it should coincide with the end hole in the profile pipe.
Through the hole in the handle of the secateurs, we pass the end of the steel cable and fix it. We lead the free end of the cable into the profile pipe.
Next to the profile welded to the secateurs, we weld another piece of the profile pipe at an angle. It is necessary to weld the washer.
After that, cut a piece of metal strip, make an incision and bend it at right angles. The result was a L-shaped part. We drill two holes in it.
We fasten the “trigger” with a bolt to the profile, and then fix the second end of the cable on it. For convenience, a piece of round tube can be put on the strip and scalded.
