A home-made universal clamp with an angular adjustment allows you to process (drill and mill) various metal and wooden workpieces of small and medium sizes at a certain angle of inclination. A distinctive feature of this device is the ability to move the jaws in a vertical plane, and the angle of inclination of the workpiece can be adjusted.
An angled adjustment clamp is useful to anyone who has a drill or milling machine in the workshop. This device is distinguished by functionality and versatility, as well as reliability and ease of use. In shops, you can buy factory clamps, but they are expensive. Therefore, it is easier to make such a convenient clip with your own hands.
Assembling a homemade clamp with angular adjustment
First of all, from the long and short sections of the profile pipe, you need to weld two frames of a rectangular shape. In one of the frames we make a movable mechanism - for this, inside the frame we first insert a piece of aluminum square profile suitable in size, which is pressed on one side by a section of the profile pipe, and on the other plate.
To the top of the frame you need to weld another segment of the metal profile. Then, by welding, we fasten two small pieces of the plate, in which we drill holes, by welding. A hairpin will be inserted into them. We weld an elongated nut to the bottom.
Next, we make the remaining elements for the clamp and proceed to the final assembly of the entire structure. The process of making a home-made clamp with an angular setting for a drilling machine, see the video on the site. Write in the comments what you think about this device.
